EVERYDAY CUPCAKES WITHOUT FROSTING
Everyday Cupcakes are sweet and simple cupcakes from scratch that you don't have to frost. And they're made from ingredients you probably already have, so you don't need to make a special trip to the supermarket to satisfy that sweet tooth. They're perfect for people who don't like desserts that are too sweet.

Equipment
- 12 Baking Cups
- 1 Baking Pan
Materials
- 1 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Shortening or Vegetable Oil
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Place shortening in a mixing bowl.
- Sift in dry ingredients.
- Add egg and half the milk and vanilla and mix at low speed until fully mixed.
- Place baking cups in a baking pan and fill with batter just over half full.
- Bake at 350º for 18-20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen
