The Pitch Fiesta is an integral part of the Tech Fiesta ABQ week. Ten companies pitched their ideas on Tuesday night to a crowd of about 50 for fun and prizes.
Paul Szauter of ElectroSeq won first place for his pitch for ElectroSeq, which is a genome-sequencing project. He won $250.
Second place went to Bob Clauss of Casitas Homes New Mexico, who is working on designing a 450-square-foot micro-house, for which he won $150. Third place, and $75, was taken by Paul Droege of Plug.Solar.
