PUMPKIN PANCAKES WITH CINNAMON CREAM SYRUP

Equipment

  • 1 Griddle

Materials

For the Pumpkin Pancakes you'll need:

  • Pancake Mix of your choice
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

For the Homemade Cinnamon Cream Syrup you'll need:

  • 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

  • Prepare pancakes as directed on package, just add nutmeg and cinnamon, and spoon in enough pumpkin puree to turn batter a light orange color. Cook on
  • Cook on the greased griddle as usual.

For the syrup:

  • Put sugar, cinnamon, light corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
  • Place it on your stove set it to medium heat and stir continually until it comes to a boil.
  • Once it boils, lower the heat and continue stirring for two more minutes.
  • Take the saucepan off the burner and let cool for five minutes.
  • Stir in evaporated milk and mix well.
  • Serve while it's still warm and enjoy!
  • This recipe makes 3 cups of syrup. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated when used again.
