Mix ½ lb ground beef with ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp onion powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp garlic powder and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce until combined.
Shape burgers pushing out from the middle until they are 1/4 inch thick and about 6 inches in diameter.
Grill burgers on each side for 2 minutes.
While the burgers are cooking, sauce 1 tbsp olive oil, ½ cup diced yellow onion and ½ cup diced NM green chile.
Heat the tortillas on the grill for 1 minute on each side, or until they are pliable and have grill marks.
Now it's time to assemble!
Layer each burger with the green chile onion mix and top with sharp cheese while they are on the grill.
Transfer the burgers to the tortilla, stacked on top of each other.
Add your favorite toppings.
