We love to photograph food. Seriously; you can see it all over the site. Our filmmakers and photography team delivers exceptional coverage of what’s hot in New Mexican cuisine, up to and including tips and answers from the chefs themselves, beautiful catalogs of the food you’re about to eat, and genuine, earnest videos that will capture your attention and whet your appetite.

We have our finger on the hot button for foodie news and we like to keep it that way. We’re thinking–and I’m sure you can agree–It’d be pretty stingy for us to keep all that hot gossip to ourselves. With that in mind, we’re launching in addition to our email newsletters a video news campaign on our website where we can give you the drill-down on the latest New Mexico Foodie must-knows.
Is there a startup restaurant that promises a food revolution? Is there an industry craze that’s sweeping the nation? Whether we can post up and film an entire segment about these new issues or simply pop them into our colorful newsletter, we’re going a mile above to make sure nothing gets by us. Our goal is to be the place you go to figure that stuff out–and you can help us by simply watching our journey!

Our efforts to be the forefront of New Mexico’s foodie video news aside, sometimes you don’t want to digest a whole slew of food information at once. Sometimes you might be just as titillated by the small stuff. Our Did You Know section posts regular updates that just give you a little taste of what makes us certified Foodies.
We know how to get the facts, and we know how to make them pop off the page, so why not join us for a little fact-finding mission and arm yourself with some great conversation-starters in the meantime?

Did you know Los Foodies started as a Facebook group? And we still are! We help restaurants connect with their audiences through our Facebook group, engage with New Mexico’s foodie community, and have fun with our own audience! We have separate groups for Taos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque, and we’re only growing bigger.

The best part? It’s community-built! If you think the Los Foodies community is missing a five star staple, you can simply click the submission button on the resource guide and we’ll dispatch some expert Foodies to check it out! It is actually very satisfying to send a fleet of hungry New Mexicans to check out your favorite restaurant. Try it.
Recipes
Like we said, we’re interested in building a community out of our shared love of food. If you can’t take something to your kitchen from all that, then what’s it for? Our recipes page, which often includes full videos—try the tortillas recipe, for example, which cuts straight to the important stuff and includes a video for reference.
We tried it and we’re not sure we’re ever going to put them down. Anyone can submit to the page, which is open-access and available for plundering! We’ve got tons of info organized by course and restaurant, and they’re easy to follow and even easier to share.

Green Company Initiatives
It might be coarse to say it out loud, but our food supply is probably under the biggest threat when it comes to climate change.
While Los Foodies can’t promise to be the end-all solution for sustainable publication and industry growth, we can say we use absolutely zero toxic inks and as little printed material as possible when it comes to running our services.
We communicate entirely digitally and our passionate team of staff foodies are all committed to making sure our carbon footprint is smaller than any hungry stomach.
