Ingredients
  

Broccoli Salad

  • 5-6 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, or sunflower seeds)
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (sharp cheddar or gouda)

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli florets, red onion, apple, dried cranberries, nuts, bacon, and shredded cheese.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients until smooth: mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and garlic powder.
  • Pour dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
  • Cover and chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator before serving for best flavor.
