Ingredients
Broccoli Salad
- 5-6 cups broccoli florets
- 1/3 cup chopped red onion
- 1 red apple, chopped
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
- 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, or sunflower seeds)
- 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (sharp cheddar or gouda)
Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli florets, red onion, apple, dried cranberries, nuts, bacon, and shredded cheese.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients until smooth: mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and garlic powder.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
- Cover and chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator before serving for best flavor.
