- Salt To taste
- Pepper To taste
- Olive oil For frying

- Cut bacon into small pieces and fry in large skillet until crispy.
- Remove bacon from frying pan and place on paper towels to allow excess oil to drain.
- Remove some, but not all, of the bacon grease from the frying pan. (This will add additional bacon flavor when cooking grean beans, but you'll likely need to add a little olive oil to it for frying.)
- After green beans have boiled for 10 minutes, drain water and place green beans into skillet with bacon grease & olive oil.
- Cook over medium high heat, adding chopped onion, bacon pieces, and two to three heaping Tablespoons of sour cream.
- Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from stove and enjoy!
