GREEN CHILE TATER TOTS

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean at least 80% ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup of chopped green chile. To taste depending how spicy hot the chile is
- 2 can 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup of milk or water
- 1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 8 oz
- 1 2 lb.bag 32 ozTater Tots frozen potatoes
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 13×9-inches baking dish with cooking spray.
- In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 8 to 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Reduce heat to medium; stir in chile, soup, water/milk and salt until well blended.
- Pour beef mixture in dish then add mixed vegetables on top of beef mixture.
- 4.Top with 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese,
- Layer tater tots in a single rows on top.
- Bake 45 minutes or until tater tots are lightly browned.
- Top the tater tots with remaining 1 cup cheese and bake until cheese is melted and golden brown on the top.
