MANGO AVOCADO CHICKEN SALAD: Best Poppy Seed Dressing Recipe

Equipment

  • Large bowl

Materials

For salad:

  • 2 Chicken breasts, cooked & cubed
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce cut into bite-size pieces large
  • 1 Avocado sliced & cubed
  • Red onion diced 
  • Crumbled feta cheese
  • Pecans

For dressing

  • 3 tbsp. Yellow mustard
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp. Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Water
  • 3 tbsp. Olive oil

Instructions

  • Making the Mango Avocado Chicken Salad is self-explanatory.
  • You just mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • The Poppy Seed Dressing, however, does need to be made in a particular order to avoid separation.
  • In a small mixing bowl, put the mustard, sugar, salt, & poppy seeds and mix well.
  •   Add in the water and vinegar and mix until fully combined.
  • Finally, add in the olive oil and whisk until it becomes thick and consistent.
  • It's ready to serve and enjoy! By the way, refrigerate any leftovers.
