SILVER COIN MARGARITA
A coin style margarita, also known as a silver coin margarita, is made with silver tequila and Cointreau. It's referred to by both names depending on the area, and is known differently in different parts of the country.

Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces Tequila
- 1/3 ounce Lime juice
- 3/4 ounce Cointreau
- Ice
Instructions
- To mix the margarita in a shaker add 1.5 ounces of the infused tequila.
- 3/4 ounce Cointreau, 1/3 ounce fresh lime juice and mix with crushed ice.
Notes
This recipe yields one 4-oz. coin style margarita, but the ingredients may be doubled or tripled to make a larger batch. Garnish with an orange wedge instead of the lime or use a wedge of each fruit. Any type of orange liqueur may be substituted for the Cointreau, if desired.
