National Spicy Guacamole Day

Today is National Spicy Guacamole Day, which means it’s as good a day as any to think about the world’s best dip — and then maybe dust off those dinnertime staples the guacamole goes best with.

Pepper nigh just feels right. The right blend of ingredients, the right cooking method and spices, and the right pepper. Our unique blend creates a burn that you can actually feel in your mouth rather than just eating them whole.

There’s a subtle kick at first that builds into a nice burn before you swallow it down.

A good bowl of pepper ought to make you sweat, unclog your nose and make your entire upper body feel warm.

That’s what we’re going for with this blend of peppers, vinegar and salt. We don’t go all out here and add red pepper flakes or cayenne for an extra kick. Our goal is to deliver great flavor without too much trouble or giving you an ulcer.

Happy National Guacamole Day (November 14)

Guacamole is an avocado-based dip that blends up fast and is the perfect party food, except I’ll be honest — it’s not the greatest. The traditional recipe just isn’t all that good, because it’s not really about the guacamole, it’s about the chips that you dip in the guacamole. Unless your guacamole tastes amazing, no one is going to want to eat a whole bowl of it without any bread or tortillas to soak up some of that delicious green creaminess.
