Los Foodies began with a simple idea: there are thousands of New Mexicans who share a deep love for our state’s unique flavors, traditions, and stories.
I believed that passion deserved a platform.
Everyone has a story worth telling stories of resilience, creativity, and community.
I’m always inspired by the journeys of others, the triumphs, the setbacks, and the perseverance that defines who we are.

Marcy Valenzuela, an Emmy-winning journalist from La Mesa, New Mexico, infuses heart, tradition, and Hatch chile into every dish she makes. Inspired by her mother’s home cooking.
Marcy began sharing recipes during the 2020 pandemic to help friends feel connected. Her YouTube channel, Marcy Inspired, showcases weekly cooking videos produced with her husband.
Angela Crespin: Bringing New Mexican Flavor to Our Recipe Collection
Angela Crespin, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the creative director and face of Red or Green? A YouTube channel dedicated to New Mexican cuisine.
A lifelong food lover, she learned family recipes early on and developed a fresh, vegetable-forward twist on traditional dishes.
