Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz. pack Fideos Or angel hair pasta broken into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp Canola Or olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 8 oz. can Tomato Sauce
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a medium sauté pan, add fideos and cook for about 2 minutes, until noodles begin to turn slightly brown.
  • Add tomato paste, and mix until fully combined.
  • Next add tomato sauce, water and bring to a boil.
  • Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Let boil for 1 minute, and then turn the heat to simmer, cook until the noodles have softened and all the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Some people like their noodles a little “soupier,” so adjust them to your liking.
  • Add more water if you want them with more liquid, or less if you want them with a thicker consistency.
