Quick and Easy Taco Bar for Super Bowl Party
Red or Green?It's that time of year again for the Super Bowl, and I'm going to teach you how to put together a Taco Bar for you and your loved ones to enjoy during the game. This taco bar comes together in 30 minutes so you can visit and watch the game with some delicious food. You're gonna love this recipe!

Ingredients
For Chicken Taco Filling
- 2 cups Chicken shredded
- 1 tbsp Canola Oil
- 1 ½ tsp Taco Seasoning I used a Trader Joe’s brand
- ¼ cup Water
For Ground Beef Filling
- 1 lb. Ground Beef I used 90/10
- 1 tbsp Canola Oil
- 2 cups Rice/Quinoa Mix I cooked this a couple of days before, so had leftovers. You can also use frozen hash browns. I often use them as to expand the taco mix
- 2 tsp Taco Seasoning
For Quick and Easy Spanish Rice
- 2 cups Cooked Rice I used leftover rice
- 2 tbsp Canola Oil
- ½ Green Bell Pepper Diced fine
- ½ Yellow Onion Diced fine
- 1 can Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp Salsa
- ½ tsp Granulated Garlic
- ½ tsp Salt
For Quick and Easy Spicy Pinto Beans
- 1 15 oz. can Pinto Beans With Juice
- 2 tbsp Salsa
Condiments to Include in taco Bar:
- Good Quality Taco Shells I used blue corn and yellow corn
- Guacamole
- Greek Yogurt/Sour Cream
- Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
- Homemade Salsa, or Store Bought of your choice
- Tomatillo Salsa
- Shredded Lettuce
- Diced Tomatoes
Instructions
For Chicken Taco Filling
- Heat oil in a large skillet and add onions.
- Cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Now add shredded chicken, salsa, taco seasoning and water.
- Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Set aside and keep warm.
For Ground Beef Filling
- Heat beef in a large skillet and cook until browned.
- Add rice/quinoa (you can also just use rice here) mix and cook until completely combined.
- Now add taco seasoning and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
- You can add more or less taco seasoning depending on your taste preference.
For Quick and Easy Spanish Rice
- Heat oil in a large skillet and add onions and green pepper.
- Cook for about 3 minutes, until they soften slightly.
- Now add tomato sauce and salsa until completely combined.
- Add cooked rice along with salt and granulated garlic.
- Stir until all the flavors come together and the rice is fully coated with tomato mixture.
For Quick and Easy Spicy Pinto Beans
- Heat pinto beans in a medium saucepan along with the salsa.
- Cook until beans thicken, about 10-15 minutes.

Make the taco filling vegetarian: Jack fruit is a great alternative to pork or chicken; chickpeas also make a great alternative.
