The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is one of the year’s most anticipated events, drawing crowds worldwide to witness the stunning display of hundreds of hot air balloons taking to the skies. As you prepare for your visit, you must know the park’s policies regarding what you can and cannot bring.
Permitted Items:
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Each person is allowed to bring one backpack or bag, which will be thoroughly inspected.
- If you have blankets or bulky clothing, please carry them over your shoulder for quicker screening.
- Folding chairs are permitted but must be removed from their carrying case for inspection.
- Guests are welcome to bring their food for consumption, but please note that any resale of food is prohibited.
Prohibited Items:
- Weapons, including knives with a blade length over 4 inches, any item that can be used as a missile, or any item deemed dangerous by Public Safety personnel.
