Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground turkey, I used Shady Brook Farms brand
- 12 count package Hawaiian rolls
- ½to 1 cup cranberry sauce
- French's Crispy Fried Onions
- 8 slices cheese of your choice I used muenster
- 6 Tbsp. butter melted
- 1 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
- ¼ tsp. thyme
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- Cook ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. (You can also form into 12 mini patties and fry them.) Set aside.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls down the middle. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13" baking dish. Top with 4 slices of cheese.
- Place ground turkey or turkey patties on top of first layer of cheese. Spread cranberry sauce on top of turkey. (It's helpful if you heat the cranberry sauce in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds to make it easier to spread.)
- Sprinkle layer of crispy fried onions, followed by 4 more slices of cheese, and finish with top layer of buns. Set aside while making butter sauce.
- In separate bowl, mix together melted butter, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, pinch of salt, thyme, and parsley.
- After whisking butter sauce together, pour or brush over tops sliders, making sure they are completely covered. (Use all the sauce)
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Then remove foil and let it continue to bake uncovered for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cut into individual sliders. Enjoy while still hot.
